Croquet lawn Mower

Hi allWe have been asked to tender for the cutting of three croquet lawns for our local club from next year. so what I was wondering was if anyone has any experience in this what mowers would you recommend, the tender stipulates that it has to be a 24" wide, but does not say anything about cuts per metre. I wasn't sure weather to go for a 10 bladed reel or just a 7?Any help would be great, of course due to the cost of a new cylinder mower we will be after a secondhand one if the tender is successful.

  • Hi Graeme

I did stumble upon this site last night. Look pretty good so maybe I should have a closer look.
  • 10 blade a defo, depending on make and ground speed of mower,if only 7 blades and too fast a speed, you may get ribbing, greens mower would be good, maybe a cassette type, this way you can cut,verti-cut and scarify
