  £1.55 per meter . plus vat . Wood , pressure treated 20yr guarantee 5" wide and can be used either side , but top is best for deck.

  Megawood is a hollow composite deck board. You need to be very careful with hollow composites. There is a reason why the USA no longer make hollow decking and the also the largest composite decking manufacturer in Europe no longer makes hollow decking.
  I could go on and on about the benefits of SOLID composite decking SCREWED (do not use hidden fixings!) but I would be typing away all day!
  We have been making solid composite decking here in the UK (everyone else imports) for nearly 8 years.
  So we use UK sourced materials. Our decking is 95% recycled hardwood/hdpe, is 100% recyclable. We make to length, buy back off cuts etc etc. Please visit our website for more information.

  Because composite decking is a 'solid' product with no voids etc, any trees sap and other such substances that will land on the decking cannot actually get into the decking so they cannot attach themsleves in the same way as they would on a wooden deck. For that reason, composite decking is very easy to keep clean, a jetwash as and when required will have it looking as good as new and will maintain the slip resistance properties. Hope that helps?

  My initial response to the client is a 'no'. But what about composite decking - is this an alternative?
  
  I admit to being green about products - it's a subject I really need to start keeping up with!

  Would anyone who would like a sample pack, please send an email to: enquiries@ecodek.co.uk stating who you are/what you do and where you would like the samples sending please.
  All other information (except prices) is available from the website.
  A price list will be sent out with the sample packs or emailed direct.
  Our composite decking is approx £35+vat /m2.
  And we will make to any length for no extra charge (up to 6m) this saves you paying for excess material.
