Combining Knowledge and Forces

Hi there,I run a maintenance business in Ayrshire and hve affiliations with design and construction teams around here and north through Glasgow and its surrounding areas. However, we are currently working on the designs for a brand new house(c.£600000) in Perthshire...To cut a long story short I'll be looking to contract a construction company of the utmost callibre and experience to construct it (c.£60000).I have a rough idea of how I will go about this but as it is the biggest contract I have ever dealt with I want to get it right and wonder how some of you might go about it. Who can give some advice on the different aspects of a contract like this - money and costs, responsibility, project management, contingencies, liabilities, ... etc..Any views/thoughts/insight would be of great help and benefit to me - and presumably everyone on this site as this sort of networking is utilised more and more to our combined advantage.Many thanks to all in advance and anticipation.Neil
