Christmas trees to rent

Here is a little idea that some of you might wish to consider to add a few pounds to your business coffers at an otherwise lean time of year. Martin Cake has started a Christmas tree rental service in Dorset - an idea that I feel will suit may retail and trade nurseries to boost takings. The idea has a great environmental approach too with trees grown to live rather than die. What do our resident growers think and has anyone tried this before? I have spoken to Martin this morning and he is keen to expand on the idea and I have invited him to join our network (once he finishes the long round of TV and media interviews).

    how does he ensure that our centrally heated houses wont kill or maim the tree, a great idea for businesses and offices though
