am not into brand snobbery and could be wrong but probably the quality of this machine is not good sadly. i have a mcCulloch petrol mower which quite powerful in fact but very rarely used and don't think it would last if it was. i remember having one of their petrol hedge trimmers back in the day when i was starting out so couldnt afford a decent one and it was a case of i nearly got what i paid for
As Billybop says...... you get what you pay for..... a friend of mine had one of their hedgecutters.... always a nightmare to start. Well the oil can only be coming from the petrol and you've the right mix. The choke isn't stuck closed? The air filter's not badly blocked? One of the carb adjusting screws hasn't loosened allowing to rich a mixture? Have you tried starting it without the choke on? If practical, try starting it without the choke and holding the throttle open..... you might need 3 hands to do that!! Does it run ok once it's started? Has this problem suddenly started or has it always been there?
Another thing to watch is, since it is a chainsaw, that you don't have chain oil in the petrol tank. This could have been done by mistake by an operator fairly easily, and even if emptied out before starting, will still leave a real messy residue causing non starting.
Easy to fix mate. Beat it against the ground until you feel better! Sweep it up in to a box and put in the skip of you local machinery dealer, after you've purchased a new decent chainsaw! I've got a Stihl ms211 it cost me £250 twelve years ago its never let me down. Saying that I only normally use it in the winter. I use to have a spear and Jackson hedge cutter work fine until I used in the rain after that it would never run again. So I brought a Stihl hs45 which I still use now after twelve years. Its like my Mrs says buy cheap buy twice.
Never used the brand myself but seems to have a long history and now owned by Husquarna i believe .
My stihl chainsaw is an absolute pain to start but once it does its usually okay
The problem with my chainsaw is the engine floods , There is one method which works but in my opinion its not a very safe method when it comes to a chainsaw so i wouldn't recommend it but yours could have a different problem .
If its under warranty take it back and get a refund as it will keep happening , If its not under warranty get it checked out by a dealer and they will tell you if its beyond economical repair or not .
