Any one used a Camon C80 chipper?

I have been offered one for £300 and looking around there retailing at £700 mark.

 

What do you think? Are they any good i only need a chipper for buddlia size branches really dont touch trees and if i do anything over 2inchs in diameter i sell the logs locally.

  • I wouldnt bother with any chipper that has a capacity of less than 4 inches, otherwise the time you spend 'cleaning' all the branches before you put them in will offset the cost of dumping them, 2 inches might sound ok but you have to take into account all the little side branches, they'll stop it going in. You really need to spend aat least 4k to get anything suitable for commercial purposes, i would recommend the greenmech CS100, it costs about £4400 and will take most branches without trimming.
