I have been told that the grids that you fit together need planning permission has anyone else heard this? also looking at the websites, you need, as Ian said above to make a sub base then fill with soil and reseed it, keeping it free from traffic for quite a while, whereas the 'netting' type you lay on top of the grass, so I was thinking this would be more suitable, also could i use it on small patches where people turn to park as these get churned up too?
