Acer griseum specimen required

I've just posted a request to see if anyone has seen a good specimen of Acer griseum in a nursery - especially one that is already peeling as the ones I've been offered are large but with no peeling bark. They are large trees but have been grown at such a rate in Holland they are not mature trees.

I used to source this tree easily from British nurseries as well as other what I'd call special trees like Prunus serrula, Cercidiphyllum japonicum, Koelreuteria and lots of Hamamellis varieties but find them increasingly difficult to find from the big nurseries these days.

Or am I just going to the wrong place? I would welcome being put right!
