I hope the customer sees the value of paying for a good job then?
Just looks messy, though Im not a fan of wisteria, still it can be kept under control and look good.
I would be tempted to lodge the photos with a factual comment as to what was done (but no emotion or personal viewpoints) with the Managing Agents. Experience shows they will then take notice of what and how the work they commissioned was completed if it is pointed out to them. It allows them no room to wriggle should there be future problems. For us, we are often the Managing Agents "eyes and ears" as they are remote and do not see the consequences of their instructions to various contractors.
Andy-that is a not good.I do quite a few Wisteria but threat them with respect-ok so cut off bits going under roof tiles etc but that is vandalism.I don't think that will flower with any meaning for many years.
I kept on driving past one in Thame over the winter and I thought I must drop a note in to offer to prune it-however I was beaten to it by someone-lots of cuts into old wood and 90% of the flowering spurs gone.
If it's not too sensitive, can I ask how much you were charging for it? Wasn't a Cameron 800 quid job was it ?
Andy keep this images as example of indians jobs. Lets say under title: thing I will never do to your plants.
AS we know there is a way to cut and thin wisteria!
It is ever so strong plant , but this way of cutting will lead to many dead brunches in just few month.
I had few in gardens in israel- Amazing plants...
