  • Also watching and blood pressure going up. On Tuesday was looking at a garden which a cowboy had been in were the elderly lady (90+) had aked for a red stone path and got a peeble dash stone garden path.

He's back on and blood pressure going back up again.

  • This was the funniest thing I've seen in ages! What an idiot. I dont think he even saw what he was doing as wrong. And Lawrence the 'grade 1' gardener turning up to demolish an apple tree with a pannel saw and an axe - lol.

  • Cowboys with a big C

  • Unfortunately it taints the whole industry, what struck me was the chap didn't think he had done anything wrong.

  • Chris Marino and co,  of Buildline, North London,  is a complete joke. Hiding what should have been removed....disgusting practice.

Taking full payment from the clients account.......HMP for you my son......

  • Never mind seeing a little old lady and deciding to charge her £1100 for a day's work for 1 man without tools.

  • I think it was a full day's work from what they said. Remember the camera cuts a lot out.

  • Absolutley disgraceful. I could have done that in a couple of hours! I would also like to know how on earth they get away with charging £12 just for a quote! wish i could do that!

I googled 'buildline landscapes' but when you click on the link it comes up as connection error, he must have shut his website down, however if you search for it on yell.com a company called 'gardenline landscapes' comes up which i believe is his new company name, the website has a very similar layout to the one shown on watchdog and the logo colours look similar.

    Here it is http://www.garden-line.co.uk/

  • Thanks for posting the link i had missed the programme earlier.

  • saw this last night, it did make me laugh but you only see what they want you to see, i wouls say for the work needed to be done would have taken aproximately 4-5 hours but then as paul says you would then have extra time going to the transfer station, would have to weigh in 2 or 3 times to sort out the plastic, wood & rubble as they all have differant tipping fees, where i tip recycleable soil  & concrete is only £6 per ton, but plastic is £120 per ton, timber & green waste £65 per ton, the price soon adds up, my price for this work would be between £450-£550 depending how far the waste had to be loaded from pile to van
