This is the genuine item.
hi vic yes the support cushion is an optional accessory i guess. I don't use one personally with my fsa130 but would imagine fitting is pretty self explanatory once you have it
Hi Billybop,
I could really do with the fitting instructions prior to buying one because I have some old harnesses that I could use the parts from. I could esily make up the fasteners if I knew where they fitted. The rear strap is obvious, but how the front one attaches is very unclear.
I wanted to use the strimmer today and not have to wait several more days for the part.
oh i see, i found the strimmer fairly light in weight so unless using for a long time the harness might be unnecessary. or put another strimmer harness on first underneath the battery backpack one somehow. not seen a diagram either for this sadly
Mine is the 'handle bar' type and strangely, even after 35 years, I have never used a none 'handle bar' type and have therefore never worked without a harness. I have a large bank to strim so I do need a harness.
yes very frustrating having all the gear raring to go and lacking that one bit. mine is the bike handle type as well but wish had got the loop version now as the handlebars get tangled up with all the other kit in the truck
Very true there............as you say, they fit in the van so much more easily....... I've always used the loop handled ones, never used a harness and strimmed quite large areas with no problem
You can undo or at least loosen the handles and turn them side on, so that they line up with the shaft. That helps considerably.
I have ordered the part now. I did find a never used lightweight harness in the shed that fits quite neatly underneath the AR 3000, so I have been using it today.
