Ben I think its not so much a problem with the scag but probably your "very narrow van". Could / do you have a trailer that can take the machine ?.
I had it on a 6 x 8 trailer but due to my driving licence i'm regulated to only 3 1/2 gross weight, i'm not sure whether i would be overweight but wouldn't want to take the chance, still even on the trailer i had the same issue not as extreme as the extra space did help but the machine again would travel forwards while the i was shutting the machine down ?
Hi Alan i have since set up the machine to creep slightly backwards in neutral for some reason the machine will not settle in neutral it either creeps forwards or backwards, i will attempt a second run next monday to see whether it is easier to load.
The only i can think off is the machine has to be put in second gear and full revs in order to run up the ramps, to slow the machine down you squeeze the motion levers or would i just hit the gear stick into neutral ?
