    I've read on another forum (arbtalk I think) that it does work but it nackers the driveshafts because there isn't a clutch like on a hedgetrimmer, something like that. But it does work but will also break it.

    They break easily, too much power needed to turn the drive shaft

    Factor in breaking it to the price for the job? If someone else wants to risk under-cutting you then you've not lost out.

    My opionion if it's that high ladders pruning saw or pass the job to a tree surgeon
