I have a customer who is having a complete garden renovation, and i'm planting the borders when the landscapers have finished. - I got an email to say that I would need to plant badger proof plants, as they'd ripped up the newly turfed lawn, - i'm presuming they were after chafer grubs brought to the surface by the old lawn being removed?
I've never known badgers destroy plants, unless they were in the way of their paths, - anyone else with experience of anyting not to plant?
interesting. a lawn ive just sprayed with moss killer has visitors and im wondering if they are feeding for these , not just trying to dig holes ! ?

is it toxic to Bees ?
I have often experienced them digging up new plants and trees, but it is to get to the bugs, worms etc that have been disturbed by our digging the soil. It seems to be especially prevalent at this time of year. Just check each morning and replant before the usually undamaged plant dries out. I think they have a target meal rather than speculative digs, so if successful at first they will have done with their dining at that restaurant and move on to another. Not much comfort when they pull up 200 whips though!
