Hi - Can anybody help please?

I need a land drainage specialist in the Tunbridge Wells area. I have a client that needs drainage/surface water solutions in a sloping domestic garden.

Please let me know.

Thanks
Karen

  • Hi Karen

Sorry im not in Kent but i think its not so much a land drain specialist you need but a good landscaper with experience of land drains, sumps and soak aways.

If you are still stuck perhaps it may be helpfully to post some pics/more detailed info on the project for members to advice you on what is required in order to select the correct contractor for the job

    Hope that helps

  • Hi Karen,

I've some experience of successfully constructing French drains, soakaways and even a small rain garden, but I'm by no means a hydrogeologist or claim to be a 'specialist' in that particular field. ;)

That said, only 30 miles away for me along the A21, so would be more than happy to consider going up and taking a look, given more detail?

Just noticed the date of your post, so you may well be sorted by now. If not, please PM if you think I can be of help?

    Karen,

Just for general interest, the Turf Teq Edger/Trencher will dig shallow trenches which can be filled with gravel. The machine is compact, walk-behind and runs on tyres so creates no grass damage other than the trench itself. A typical solution would be to dig 175mm deep (that's the max) x 50mm wide. The trenches can be run in a herringbone pattern and linked into a central, larger, drain. I am not a drainage expert (!), but this is the way many of our clients have used the machine. Have a look at www.groundscare-products.co.uk and the attached photo.
