I don't know about indespension, but I'm guessing you're asking it to work beyond its design capacity ?

I think I'll strip it down some time as there is definately something wrong .
When it's fully loaded it is always attached to my truck. It's when it is stored in my garage with a couple of mountain bikes in the back it tends to collapse.
