When bored nothing beats a bit of plant id, particularly if there is no forlorn dogs nearby to tickle, trouble is you may not get something and wake up at a god earthly hour shouting out Acacia baileyana

i like identifying plants etc on TV, but also wine- i used to be in the wine trade before going into horticulture, and i love to name the champagne brand or whisky or whatever, when i've only had a small glimpse at the bottle!!
for example a drama thats ment to be set in spring had autumn joy flowering in the back ground lol sad i know but my wife seemed to thing it was quite cool
