  Hi, Just for a little more information. I have been a garden maintenance chap for 3 yrs. Previously I worked for 2 yrs for a landscaper in Cambridge. I am looking to emigrate to New Zealand but need to save a substantial amount first for my business visa. I need to settle down somewhere for 4 yrs in order to do this. I want to experience a little more of the uk before I leave, I moved to Edinburgh in the spring, it was generally easy (with a load of leg work) to drum up business, but most of it was city gardens and they all want me to stop coming now the winter is here. Plus I'm not enjoying my experience of the city in general. I am moving back to Cambridge for a while whilst I work out a new plan. I have been to Cornwall at least 20 times and loved it, the reason I would be hesitant about moving would be a lack of work. I charge £15 an hour. If I'm a good boy I can save money on that rate, but no less. Is this a reasonable amount for Cornwall? And what about laboring for a landscaping firm whilst I look for work...is there a glut of laborers as there is in the South East?

  The path is made up of a self binding gravel from a local quarry (it is actually the same as was used to surface The Mall in London). It is laid over a membrane to a depth of @300mm in two two layers, the top layer being finer than the base. It is compacted with a ride on roller and forms a very hard robused path.
