Basically everything is built sturdier, the handles are stronger, the deck is heavy duty alloy, just built to be more robust.
IMHO worth the extra.
Yep, it's beefed up to be tougher and worth the extra. Even things like the wheels are much stronger.
As I've said in another thread, I run the Kaaz equivalent with the same engine and drivetrain. If anything the wet pickup is better than the Honda I had a few years ago, the handles aren't as strong but they are perfectly strong enough for heavy commercial use. My last one was c. £900 about a year ago, so a useful saving over the non-pro Honda let alone the pro-spec.
This is the first link to it I found doing a quick search, I do get a good deal off my local specialist as I've been using him for about 15 years and buy everything there.

Thanks guys, have decided to shell out the extra for the top spec.
I'm looking at buying a new Honda mower as well, like you i was confused at what the difference was between the HRH536QX and the HRD536QX.
I understand the HRH has got a steel front wheels (as opposed to plastic wheels), heavier gauge handlebar, front deck guard (bumper), handlebar cable protector and a high density alloy deck I also understand it has a heavy duty gearbox. Honda website doesn't make this clear.
I have ordered the HRH536QX as i fully intend the new machine to last me four years minimum, for the sake of £300.00, also bear in mind Honda are giving £100.00 cashback for every machine purchased (through a Honda registered dealer) not online before may 2012.
Don't take this as a recomendation the choice will have to be yours.
Hi Guys and Girls!
I'm new here so take this comment as you will, I have used Honda 536QXE Pro Rollers for 10 yrs and there great, I have used Hayter 48 and 56 at several places and prefer my Honda's.
Do allow for repairs, the odd drive cable, bearings in rollers and of course the sealed gearbox, I'm talking about every 3-4 yrs not weeks here so enjoy ok.. the mowers have covered approx 10,000 miles, I change the oil once a year and the blades every Autumn. The Engine is a GVX160 which can easily be replaced about £400.
One other tip do check under the grey plastic cover over the drive shaft (10mm socket bolt) dried grass tends to collect there round the drive shaft and the bolt needs to be greased.
They weigh 55kilos ( 8 stone in old money) and a wet scaffold board on the back of a pick up can be interesting, I found a better way to transport them in the end as one does.
Don't know why, mine still have original clutch fitted. The later engines had to had a design fault rectified not sure if it was the clutch though. You can tell an older model but the colour of the return spring on cable left hand side top of handlebars, early was silver, later was gold, the drive cables differ to colour of spring.
