  • Hi John,

I have worked on a number of green roofs and also have contacts within Bauder and BritishFlora who have good roofing and horticultural knowledge. Feel free to drop me a note and I will happily discuss a little more.

  • Thanks Nick, architect has pointed me in the direction of Blackdown. Do you know them?

  • Yep, you wont go far wrong there I don't think, just try and stick to a native roof rather than Seedum, too many non native roofs being installed for perceived cost savings.

Nice case study here if it's of interest.

  • Blackdown green roofs are about half a mile away from us, they were extremely helpful when I needed some advice.

  • We supply (Wildflower Roof Turf as an alternative to Sedum) to quite a few green roof installers and have been pleased to supply those already listed. Blackdown and Bauder seem to be the biggest of those mentioned and Paul Slawson has installed a number of roofs using Wildflower Turf and is very helpful. For domestic installations, Oxford Green Roofs are very good and are prepared to do the small scale roofs that the bigger companies are not so interested in. Others we have supplied include Tim Wood at IKO Group, ICB Sustainable Roofing Solutions near Bournemouth, Janet Malt at Io Contracts and BBS Green Roofing.

  • Hello John,

Drop me a line for any information you require, we would be very happy to help you out.  Just to let you know we work nationwide, installing and supplying products for all types of green roofs, and also all sizes, and are also a member of GRO (The Green Roof Organisation).

    Cheers
