They are standard but you must make sure you get one callibrated to your use. The nozzle will have a code on it, get one with the same code. It's down to the flow rate in litres/minute and width of spray at a set height (usually 0.5m).
What are you applying? The standard nozzle for most of my uses (and many normal maintenance chemicals) is the green one, though some companies do this one in brown!
Thanks Dan. I'll have a look tomorrow to see if I can see a code. I'm applying Glyphosate diluted at 12ml/litre and applying at a rate of about 10L/1,000sqm. I think it's probably a 110 deg fan.
Is this the sort of thing you mean

Yes Anthony. It looks very much like that except it's yellow.
Paul, I'll see if I have anything with amonia in. The reason I wanted to find out if they're standard is that although I can probbly get them here, they might be more expensive than in UK (many things are) and if so, I'd get my lad to bring some over with him. I'll take the old one with me to the suppliers and see if I can get a match. I'm looking into the feasibility of making myself a boom sprayer to mount on the back of the van as doing the back hectare with the knapsack (10 refills) is a bit tiresome.
