For example Sportsmaster Renovator Pro 10+2+4+Fe £27.73 Plus VAT and delivery for a 25kg bag from Pitchcare web site. This would cover 714 square metres at 35 g per m2
Sportsmaster Renovator Pro is a triple-action product.
As well as providing essential nutrients to promote growth and improve colour, it contains three selective herbicides giving a useful level of control of common broad-leaved weeds. Sportsmaster Renovator Pro will control common turf weeds including Cat's Ear, Creeping Buttercup, Daisies and White Clover. Dandelions and Plantains are moderately susceptible. Resistant weeds are Common Bird's-Foot Trefoil, Field Woodrush and Mind-your-own-business.
In addition, it contains Iron for the control of moss, and rapid green-up of the turf.
Personally I find Pitchcare expensive - Phone Sherriff Amenity - You can't go wrong!
Customer has gone for the Evergreen stuff, I now need a spreader...will be another string to my bow I suppose.
I've also just bought an extender for my Ally Hight Step Major (although struggling to sort out problems of faulty manufacture with Henchman right now !!!!!) because of a job that has finally stretched the existing platforms limits. So my second year in gardening is still demanding that I be more versatile to secure work and offer more to the customer.
Good job I'm working 6 days a week at the moment so can afford to invest a bit back into the business.
Anyway thanks for the feed back, I can now treat this lawn with a bit more confidence in the product than I would otherwise have been able to do.
Cheers
Mark
Interesting Steve....they sent me the extension and it didn't look right even before I put it together, the legs were marked up incorrectly (left/right, right/left..!) and when swapped around the stays wouldn't line up properly..?
After lots of emails & pictures they are sending me two new hedge side legs by 9.30am today to try and cure the problem. My Major is a couple of years old now and they needed to clarify which one I had before sending the "correct" extension.
Cheers
Mark
I have set up a dedicated Henchman review page - all your comments are valuable to others who are contemplating their purchase of a platform and of course, Tom Kitching of Henchman will will the feedback very valuable too.

The Client is likely to be a regular so future visits shouldn't be a problem.
Realy though the feeding time of lawns is over until next march.

I wouldn't suggest scarifying this time of year. Feed (Autumn and or Moss treatment is fine) plus aeration. May be prudent to delay followup treatments i.e. non feed until next year.
lawn sand is cheaper (looks ideal for moss and cost is 1/2 weed and feed)
see graemes advise. just tell her as it is -it shouldnt be fed lol only treat -moss its your reputation....
