Etesia Bahia hydro mbhe 2001

Hi guys - first post! I've got the above model and really struggling to find out how to check and replace the transmission oil. Just can't locate a dipstick or see how to check the level. If someone could point me in the right direction I'd be very grateful. Many thanks, mark

    • Thanks for taking the trouble to reply Ian - much appreciated. Unfortunately the manuals don't help in that my machine doesn't have a reservoir or dipstick so I'm scratching my head!!!

      • Have you checked under the seat? I don't know this mower, but I think that is where the manual states the oil filler is.

  •  Just for others, there are a number of Etesia manuals that can be browsed on the Mower Spare Parts site:

    Hi Mark,

we have run several of these over the last 15 years and decided that getting a dealer to service them is the best way forward. These are brilliant mowers but after over 20 years of use, I'd be surprised if the transmission is original or not in need of an upgrade. Usually we change our mowers after about 7 or 8 seasons as the wear and tear tends to catch up and affect reliability. Sorry I can't be of more help, but that's just my suggestion.
