I recently received a marketing/sales email from an equipment supplier which was reasonably relevant to us. It described new equipment and offers available for Contractors for the coming year.
However, it contained no link back to their website for a specific landing page and their website could only be derived by 1/ using email address or 2/ knowing/searching for their site.
Easily done ? Maybe if you've been pouring over constructing an important/key email. They knew what they were talking about and where it was, but what a missed opportunity.
Morale ? If you are sending key emails, get someone outside your area of control to cross check and point out the obvious ;-) !

Good morning Gary, something very similar has just happened to us...I noticed (not too late) my telephone number was missing a digit. So yes, your top tip is recommended this end...get another person to help with the poof reading/link checks etc.
