What are you trying to do with your website Robbi?
It may sound like a daft question but it is fundamental. If you want to give people a rough idea of what you are doing it is fine but if you want to attract new clients, then I think you need to focus a bit more.
Your home page has got some nice pictures on it but I think you need to engage your visitor a bit more, try and work out what you want them to do then steer them towards taking the action, like picking up the phone to you or sending the enquiry by email. I am not sure whether it is a good idea to put your starting price at £8 a cut on your home page, you may be lowering your potential customers expectations.
Lawns are not a subject I have any specialist knowledge of, maintaining a lawn for me is a chore, as I suspect it is for a great many of your potential customers. Focussing on how you are going to take this burden off them without lowering their expectations in terms of how little they are going to pay you could be a route to consider.
Robbie,
Good on you looks like it has the beginnings of a nice site. I like the white background and i think the header layout is fine.
My main critisicms are only really on the homepage and are regarding the vast array of different text sizes, spacings and bold effects. The first section immediately under the menu is especially jumbled.
The last section however is dramatically more coherant is terms of layout. I would consider styling your first section like this.
My 2 other small points are more personal opinion and relate to content. Firstly I think you need an overview of your services first and then go into detail further down the page. The first section of body text should generally introduce all the things you do and then split into side bars/ sections for each.
This is a big selling point in my opinion and should be in the first introduction section.
Lastly whilst mentioning the use of professional machinery is worthwhile i find the 'replacement every 3-4 years' a bit weird and then mentioning the tools again later on the page feels very forced.
I think your other pages look good and are simple and informative. The navigation all seems to work well too.
Get your googles places listing up and running, its great.
Oh and I viewed on google chrome and 1280x960 HD which may be responsible for some of the jumbled text?
£8 a cut on your home page (Removed)
Replacement tools (removed)
Introduction now at the top of the front page.
I'm looking at the site on google chrome @ 1080. I will need to have a look at different resolutions :)
Thanks so far guys, keep them coming!
Looks ok to me, I find people looking on internet for lawncare advice are generally enthusiasts looking for the independent treatment , so good that you emphasise that early on.
Are you planning to add a how to contact us page, and web response form , nothing like leading potential customers by the hand.
Its raining by the way so not out caring for lawns.
i have notice alot of other companies with similiar domain names, but it will not help with search engine placings and the words pure bedlam doesnt really have anythink to do with your work does it ?

Hi Robbie
I may have missed it but one crucial thing that seemed to be missing is the area that you operate in, which is important from both an SEO point of view and helping conversions. Local people may recognise the area code, but many may not bother to enquire if they don't know where you are based.
I also think it's important to include a business address on your website as well.

Looking good Robbie; I also like the clean white background with strong text.
As already mentioned, consistency through the pages as a must eg font, sizes, line spacing etc. Particularly the line spacing (or leading) where a sizeable space between lines (and images) makes things a lot easier to read.
Some observations..
Potentially a great site there, good luck!

Robbie, In 20 years landscaping in Northern ireland, I have never been asked for striped lawns. May be different in your part of North Down/West England. A photo or two of a standard cut might help the less fussy customers who might be put off at thought that stripes are expensive.
