Christmas gifts to clients

Every year we like to give our regular customers a Christmas gift. Last year we gave poinsettia's  to all the regulars, the year before home grown Amaryllis'.

Anyone do similar and have any good ideas for this year? It's nice to keep the budget low, but give something that gives for a while. Not a big fan of wine etc. as a gift as it is a little impersonal.

  • I think it's a lovely idea, and something garden related, - plant  etc is appropriate. - Why not plant up some forcing daffodils, - I did some with the school children the other day, - 3 bulbs in a long tom, - price each less than £2 but looks worth at least a fiver.

Nice idea Clare, I'll have a look at that. See if I can find some nice pots that will suit.
  • Same here I'm going with the daffs as well for regulars but need to come up with something special for a very good customer not sure what yet.

  • As a marketing on the side of it it can be anything that they use with your branding,

If few firms are willing to design a calender together , than it can look great and not too expensive to produce.

With your tel no. etc in there all year around and images of  your best gardens to create a chat about.

Just an idea - that I heard that works well ( never tried it ).

but I had years ago a slide show on cds
of gardens that we did , and I know customers kept it/ loved it and even gave it to friends that later on we designed their gardens ...
