Cheap shouldn't be your consideration Mitchel.
If it's just grass you want to kill then it's Glyphosate you need. Speak to Richard or Louise at Progreen for the best product at the right price;) info@progreen.co.uk
Roundup.
Not always the case.
Not all Gylpho products are created equal or are as safe. That's why talking to a good supplier can help, if you are not sure. They can legally give you advice.
Your duty is use the least harmful product to do the job and in this case cheapest is not always safest or best.

Buy cheap, Buy twice.
I find clinic ace does the job agricultural area spraying but takes along time and needs a higher dose - so the cheaper price is mis leading, the more expensive Roundup Pro does the job faster and using less mixture so overall works out cheaper.........
so spend more to save
Depends how large the lawn is.
If it is small to medium does the grass HAVE to be killed?
I would just lift the grass (makes great compost) and then rotovate. No waiting for chemicals to act, and more environmentally friendly.
If it is too large, then Roundup Pro. Bit more expensive, but biodegradable in soil & like David said, buy cheap, buy twice, and in most cases with the cheaper stuff, spray twice too.
Hi Mitchel,
As people have said there are loads of glyphosates on the market but not all the same. The industry is moving to 'clean label' which are cleaner adjuvants used in a glyphosate product to help it 'stick', spread and become rainfast quicker. We believe older style petroleum based sprays - normally at the cheaper end of the market, will eventually be phased out.
Roundup (Monsanto) and Cheminova (Headland) do almost all the research into new cleaner sprays which are more efficient.
Most glyphosates will kill a grass lawn - its just a question of; how long, how clean and at what cost.....Take a look at the individual varieties of grass specified on the Roundup ProBio label with differing application rates - this the responsible way for all of us to apply these chemicals by only using what is required and not over-applying..we have choices in most sizes and specifications you decide...
