All in one fencing machine.

This is going to sound a little odd I know, but a couple of years back I saw a machine on the series "Jimmy's Farm" It was, from memory, a tracked vehicle with a post driver and post carrier combined but the thing that made it stand out was the Auto feed for the posts, effectively making it an almost one man job.I have never seen anything before or since and its been bugging me that I don't know what it was called. I have emailed, over the years, all sorts of people, including Jimmy himself and the series producers but to no avail. Given where I am based it would be an ideal machine for fencing up here.I really hope someone out there knows what I am on about and you don't all just think I am a little mad! Thanks in advance.

  • Are you sure it was 'Jimmys Farm'?
There was a macine exactly as you described on Country File, the red headed farmer and the ex Blue Peter presenter were using it (sorry dont watch it much), hydraulic post driver and post feeder.
  • Might have been the same thing but it was definitely Jimmy as I remember thinking to myself.... "Oh my god.... what is that bloke doing now?!"

Cheers for that though, I might send an email off to Adam.
  • if you find out what it is id be interested in knowing sounds like an excellent machine for the job
