Advice please

I have an issue with an Eleagnus planted in some lovely big planters that has surfaced over the last few weeks, see attached photos of current symptom, I have a feeling that the client is over watering, any advice would be welcome.

  • Maybe the other way round - possibly sat in the sun and roasted for a day or two, dried the rootball out so that water was running through and out of the pot without soaking the compost.
  • Watering around 8 to 10 minutes 7 days a week , mind you the hots spells might well have caused this, will try a good feed and keep an eye on it.
