I am happily married to Gaby and we have 2 great kids, Mia 7 and Chloe 5. I have been in the construction industry in one way or another since I left college. I have always wanted to work for myself.. Arbour Design and Build is a garden design, landscaping & maintenance company established by Richard Bickler in 1996 based on the borders of Hertfordshire and London. After he graduated from Capel Manor College in 1996 Richard decided to start his own company with a focus on high quality and attention to detail. After 15 years we have earned a reputation for good customer service and quality work. We are members of a number of associations including HTA APL & TRUSTMARK. We are also a Marshall Register approved contractors. One of our most recent high profile projects was installing the planting at the Channel 4 Big Brother House.

Love your profile pic......what a great design and great use of the space with colour too. Currently sorting out a website, blog and need to upload images of work, so thought a pretty face might be best for now!
