Last year was lawn care so covered for lawn care
Getting a renewel price tell Swinton I do some landscaping Thats a diffrent trade not covered
When I landscape I power wash to clean up areas I have mixed etc Power washing diffrent trade not covered.
Because power washing causes muck to fly around I clean house windows after, window cleaning diffrent trade not covered.
Products cannot be bought off the shelf by joe public need a list of what I use to give to underwriters.
Clean gutters more money.
I have been told to say I am a general builder as this covers alot more.
Has anyone on here got cover that does cover them for all the above and more?
So easy to buy that piece of paper saying we have insurance however no use if you need to claim the company will try and find a way not to pay up if it can.

You need to ensure your broker knows that the different tasks you state are incidental and are of a consequence of your main trade AND not seperate sources of income (different business cost centres).
It's easy to answer Yes to some of a broker's questions and not realise the consequence.
Landscaping & Grounds Mainteance are two good categories that cover 99% of tasks
I would question whether Swintons are the right place to go..
Look for a specialised business insurance broker (try Simply Business as well ?)
