I can't help thinking this is a publicity stunt;-0)

Workmen spent a morning ripping up a woman's drive before realising they had been sent to the wrong address.
Julie Tworogal, 50, returned home to find her concrete and pebble driveway reduced to rubble.

At first she thought her home in Eastwood, Essex, had been targeted by vandals.

  • Not sure if it is funny or not ....
Made me laugh first but oh no feel sorry for the workman.

on top of the mistake you hope that this publicity will not harm his business.

I was taught at my army days that if not sure, make it sure.

I found myself teaching same to my new employee that sent a wrong address ,someone with same name but at the other side of the country ....

it would take seconds to find out - learning curve ,he is clever young lad (20) so I am sure it will not happened again...

  • This is our area, but definately nothing to do with me!

  • a guy i knew worked for a city landscaping company back in the 90s, they did all the top hotels, restaurants, millionaires pads etc.

his team turned up at a house, ripped out the winter bedding and replanted with summer bedding (this was a big job taking most of the day), the property's gardener turned up looking quite upset and said 'i was going to do that, what's going on' the foreman told him 'looks like your out of a job mate' and carried on.

they found out the next morning that it was the wrong place when the person they were meant to have visited rang in to ask why the work hadn't been done as agreed.

trying to recall the companies name, i'm wondering if they are still in business....

this stuff must happen all the time........
