Winter gloves

We generally buy Ejendals Tegera 292 gloves for Winter but at £20 plus £4 delivery wonder if there are gloves of equal performance at less cost?

The specification we need as a minimum is compliance to EN 511 at level 1 for conductive cold , contact cold and water permeability.

We do use the Skytec Argon type dipped, fleece lined gloves when conditions are less harsh but the lining parts company with the inside of the glove eventually and their EN 511 rating is 0 for conductive cold and water permeability so fingers become cold very quickly.

Any suggestions ? But must comply with above spec.

I use these and they are very good in our opinion.

    • Yes same spec as the Skytec which do not comply with all EN 511. Just have a level 2 rating for contact cold and 0 for convective cold and water permeability. Thanks amyway.

  • Check out safety gloves.co.uk. They have a range of EN511 1,1,1 rate gloves including the below, and also even cheaper Ejendals.

    • Thanks, yes have seen that site and those gloves. We prefer a knitted wrist so go for the 292. However been trialling some Pfanner stretch flex polar at £6 which tick all the spec apart from conductive cold but seem more waterproof than the 292 and considering the cost difference will probably go for and unlike the Skytec and similar do not lose the lining.
