Kit all serviced and raring to go......... just waiting for today's snow to melt !!
Managed to get a break in the rain today to get a new machine out and working - one of our commercial pub jobs wanted their grass tidying up before valentines day on friday. A chance to get the new Kubota zero turn out, mulched the grass from 6" to 3" in two passes - the finish is not totally perfect with the odd minor clumping but hey 3" of long wet grass full of hail stones from yesterday is a lot to 'loose'!! Its always one of those 'tricky' lawns, grows a lot and hangs wet till late in the day. Comes the season proper, it will soon tidy up.
The storm at the weekend has harvested loads of fencing jobs.. the problem we are still running behind on existing winter work thanks to all the rain. Today was spent on 4 regular clients (domestic)... one was interesting - replacing 3 panels right on a weir - the definate instruction was DO NOT FALL IN!!! https://photos.app.goo.gl/KAtDH3cNVywGqCJZ7
Plenty of fences to repair and replace so I'm going to be busy busy busy.
A lot of tidy up work, wind damaged planting along with whatever Ciara decided to transport to places they didn't belong.
Constantly trying to balance whether we are going to receive the perfect amount of precipitation for getting some 'tonic' treatment down on the lawns, or too much. Too much is the consensus at the moment.
