I asked a similar question on here recently, & was pointed toward the "Buckler" range of boots. They are comfy, but the ones I have are heavy, which is something I don't notice except on a Tuesday, when I work at a particular clients premises which involves a lot of walking, by the end of the day I'm glad to be rid of them.

I'll have a look at Amazon to see what's on there.
Will also look at Buckler boots, but that's the problem I had with my Caterpillar boots, they were solid and lasted 4 years of heavy work on farms, building sites and doing my gardening/landscaping. But they weighed some and more, and when I changed to trainer style I really noticed how much lighter they were.
I have always used dewalt but as they only last 6 months i need to find some tougher but light waterproof boots!!
Its time for new boots - both the Englebert Strauss pairs I've had and now the Dickies have gone at welting between the sole and upper - other than that they are fine. The Dickies have lasted about a year the ES around 6 months, the one thing in favour of ES is they change them once on guaruntee - so there have actually been 4 pairs of them!
I've tried gluing the Dickies - and it works for a week - even using gorilla super duper glue. However I will loose patience with doing that very soon :)
What boot have you had that lasts over a year? It really seems ridiculous to have to keep changing boots that look fine but always give way at the welt between the sole and upper
I got a pair of the ES Stonekit S1P Safety Shoes Ascona for the summer months as they are not waterproof but were more comfortable than boots all summer so time will tell how they fair. My S3 boots also need replacing but have not decided what to get yet, though I had thought about the basic Husqvarna work boots for the winter onwards
I wear lightweight airport rated boots still have full spec toe protection but the toe is plastic and are waterproof but light as a feather were about £50.
