Hi all,
I introduced myself to Phil & the LJN folk at the 2012 meet up in Birmingham.
I explained about our charity and how we helped horticulturists but pointed out that our criteria included soft landscaping but not hard landscaping meaning that we couldn't accomodate all LJN members.
It was suggested (I think by Mick Gammage & Kerry Jackson) that maybe we should look at amending our criteria & this prompted discussions with Senior Management that one year on have resulted in us adopting some hard landscapers into our criteria.
Please understand that our Charity is registered to help "horticulturists" in need and so we still do not cover builders or civil engineers but if your business falls into the following definition you & your employees can now apply to Perennial for help should you ever need it :
Hard Landscaping " The design and building of private and commercial gardens and recreational open spaces using predominantly but not exclusively hard landscaping materials"
I, personally, am very proud that Perennial continues to move with the times seeking new ways to help those within our industry that so desperately need it.
Should you have any questions please contact me directly lchurchill@perennial.org.uk
Many thanks
Lins

Hi Lindsey, I agree you should all be very proud that Perennial as a charity with no direct income in not the best of economic times is expanding the help it offers further to more members of the industry. Great move by all concerned.
Regards, Graham
Thank you for letting us know Lindsey.
I'm delighted that LJN has been able to play a part:)
