Great way to relax. I might be a useless player, but I enjoy every second turning this lot up to 11.....
And, the naughty corner....
Very nice work Phil.
I suppose my main hobby if it can be called that is tattoos, started off just going to have 1 now there all over my arms, hand, chest, ribs, leg. I have a folder with about 40 more designs which one by one i'll get inked on. Not everyones cup of tea i'm sure.
I love music (listening, not playing), I am interested in science, history, Astronomy, geography, religeon and read books when i'm in bed on these subjects alongside novels aswell.
I have also begun doing some chainsaw carving which I am still very much a beginner but I enjoy it and hopefully will get better at it with practice. I am also planning on doing some milling aswell when I have the spare cash to buy the equipment.
I enjoy working on machinery too which obviously ties in with work, when the evenings get a bit warmer I will no doubt be ventureing back into the workshop to continue restoring my Hayter Osprey.
I also like watching telly, drinking beer (which i'm having a break from at the minute), going for drives and finding interesting places.
Trees are a big interest of mine, again tied in with work, but I could happily spend hours walking round a woodland.
I hope you have a detached house:)

Wow Andy. How do you find time for work;--0))
I too share many of the interest you list. I do find though that I read so much during the working day that I rarely read books:(

I rarely get more than a 2 or 3 pages read each night before i fall asleep drop my book and have to be woken by the wife telling me to turn my light off :-)
I don't have much time to do these things, I just squeeze things in as and when I can.
I have had my tattooist ready to make me an appointment since november, I still haven't got over there :-)

Cracking job on the kitchen units Phil, looks great!
No out and out hobbies as such. Most spare time is spent with our 1 year old which is great. When I can I like to read, whether it be books, Blogs, reviews etc.
We try and visit gardens whenever we can for both relaxation & inspiration.
Ive kept fish since i was about 10years old, i currently have 2 freshwater tropical aquariums, the most i ever had on the go was 5! plus a large pond with koi, big filter etc.
I ran an average sized reef aquarium for a couple of years, with coral etc but it was very labour intensive keeping it looking right and keeping everything clean and working, the leccy bill was no joke either! gave that up just before i got into this business as i was already beginning to wain and i new i would have even less time to look after it.
I also have a 2 stone African spurred tortoise, which ive had about 15years since he was approx 4inches long!
I also have a classic Datsun 260z 2+2 which ive had for 17years and was fully restored 8 years ago, but its been garaged and unused for the last few years as funds do not permit the extravagance of another car in the family at the moment.
I remember seeing the very occasional one on the road around the time i was learning to drive (1987) and thought i want one of those some day, something about the lines of the bodywork and the straight six engine that just does it for me!
