Weedkiller for use near water course

  • Hi as above, there's a ditch/ dyke next to a property I look after, it is completely covered in weeds and they are not suprisingly coming through on to 'my' side. Is there a weedkiller I can use to stop this happening? 

And yes I am pa1/pa6!

    If it’s a water course you need PA6AW to spray

      Thanks for the quick response, I'm not spraying the banks.how close can I spray to a water course?

    Good Morning Edward 

    You could use round up pro Active 360 or Roundup pro vantage 480 on the weeds on the ditch/dyke,  as it is the only glyphostae (total weed kilelr) that has aqautic approval suitable for a number of applications including weeds which are in or around water. Please note that Round up is a total weed kller so be careful not to spray it onto areas which you don't want the grass/plants etc to be killed.

    How about putting some non toxic elbow grease in to it?

     I don't think we should be spraying anything near water courses.

    If you need a 1m buffer zone in my mind it shouldnt be used as spray spreads. A meter is not enough, even if certification says so.

    Wish people would consider the environment.
