Hi Marc I am going to take boss off the prop shaft and put a few washers in boss where blade bolt goes through. This might lower blades enough.
That won't push it below deck level will it? If it does might not be a good idea

I've not gone below the third-from-lowest setting on my Kaaz for a few years now: conditions have changed and I cut lawns significantly higher than 20 or more years ago. Are the machines not designed for proper cutting, just rough work?
I've had to explain to a few people recently that the lawn isn't looking much different after a cut as it's a parched, brown thing with no growth. Lowering the blades will do it a lot of damage, as scalping it in dry conditions only encourages weeds and weakens the grass.
