Just some thoughts - I initially would check grass box is ‘clear’ and engine is set to optimum revs ( most new mowers have their revs set low for noise reasons ).
Look to see if there is a high lift blade available ( likely to be from 3rd party ) which will increase airflow.
Otherwise you’re looking at machine design from deck, thru exit chute to grass box and there’s not much you can do in that case.
check the blade is fitted the right way up, others rate the viking saying it fills the bag to the brimm even with wet grass but i have never had one
just had a quick glance at the 756 it says it has a high lift blade
For some reason the pro Viking models have a grass bag and not a plastic box like the rest of their models so it's unlikely to collect as well as the others as to my mind the plastic box is one of the main reasons they collect so well.
I have had this machine for a year, and am really impressed with it. Have just bought a second one to replace an ageing honda pro. Pick up in wet and dry is much better.
It comes with a high lift blade fitted.
I did get the revs sped up a little bit recently as it didnt cut so well on longer grass. This has solved that.
Also we try to keep the grass box clean by hosing it out regularly as with any mower this improves the performance.
Hope this helps
