Van Ventilation

I run two panel vans which suffer from terrible condensation on the inside in the back. This is caused by transporting tools and green waste around which is sometimes wet.This causes the metalwork to start rusting from the inside out as well as making the ply-lining mouldy.I was wondering if anyone else has suffered from the same problem and how it was resolved. Apart from leaving the doors constantly open on site (which I am reluctant to do as my tools may be pinched) I have looked at van ventilation sytems which involve a hole being cut oin the roof and a "whirly-gig" device being attached. Are these effective?I have also painted the ply-lining with a fence treatment which contains a mildewcide and a fungicide which will prevent the wood from getting any worse.Thanks for your help!-Nick
