Ohhh Yes. He a keen racker !

  • Gaynor got in first! Paul's van is the exemplar of storage solutions! When he sees your thread let's hope he puts in a couple of pics - right the FS450 goes there and the BG86 slips in there!! He's even got a hand sanitiser unit - top stuff. It's kind of like the TARDIS when he open the back doors.

  • Haha storage solutions... I can't beat Paul's  - but mine is here...

Been a bit modified since then, with the ladder now fitting behind the Henchman and different brackets fitted to carry long reach hedge trimmer and pole pruner.. basically the same though..

Old wellies make great 'stops' to prevent roller mowers sliding about too!

What vehicle did you have/do you have now??

  • You don't want to see mine .... trust me  LOL :-D

  • Hi Adam

I previously had a Vivaro (I've added a pic of how the storage was, I just left it how it was when i bought it) but now have a swb mk7 Transit with no shelving in atall so I'm going to fit it how i want to this time, I like the way you have divided your van but I can't do it that way myself i need the length

  • Hi Rowly

Currently running a 2008 swb transit and I'm looking forward to seeing Pauls pics

    Hi David,

As we all know Paul is the go to man..his previous set up was v. impressive and I can't wait to see the Merc upgrade.

What you have not mentioned is the van you are currently running as this may affect what you can take from replies.

I can safely store items up to 10ft long in my MWB transit but this may not apply to you if you run something smaller.

You may need replies and pics from others if this is the case.

  • I see the size of your yellow bucket has increased - you drinking more during the day?!!

My current set up. Base vehicle is a 2011 SWB Mercedes Sprinter.

Ive designed it so that when viewed from afar with the doors open the equipment is not obvious, also dust and debris cant get in to certain areas eg tool bags winch etc. The base of the compartmented racking is also sealed so if anything leaks it cant get in underneath.

Shelf bases and floor coated with protektakote, alu trim to protect edges.

My work is very varied so i can still easily load the central area with power tools etc or if pushed get a 1t bag of sand in although I would normally trailer this.

Yes, helps make things more productive. I have yet to find fault with my layout this time around, all the isuses of my old racking have been amended in this setup.
