Nothing wrong with standing on your vehicles roof, I do it aswell sometimes.

There's an estate agent's board up as well: they probably asked their regular gardener do tidy it for sale or rent. The owner fell off his chair, and said "my handyman will do it for £20 cash".

We've been known to do the same for large hedges. A long wheel-base van with a Rhino roofrack and walkway makes for a very stable hedge cutting platform...
