Yes, one should always check your loading weights with anything added into/onto your vehicle.
Is there 'nose weight' as the weight transfer is different to that of a trailer with wheels?

The reason it got my interest was the fact it uses the same Hitch reciever type as our SnowEx Spreaders that sit on the rear.
"Thule" do a similar solution for taking 4 or 5 bikes on the rear that either uses the Tow ball (ie it clamps to it) or fits into a receiver bolted onto the tow bar.
I wonder if the big mower would even fit across the back of one of these without sticking out?
My guess is probably not.
There must be some weight limit the tow bar setup can handle.

as others have said nose weight and light board including number plate also I think there is a maximum overhang sticking out the back but cannot find the info as yet
