The best time to start up?

Hello everyone. I've been a member on here a while now and previously I was in the process of starting up. The start up last year got put on hold due to the youngest being a tad unwell during her first few months of being here (totally fine now).So now I find myself wanting to start up again but a potential lack of funds is holding me back. I currently am employed working an awesome shift pattern which gives me loads of time off. So i feel it's perfect to slowly build up a business with clients etc.I have level 3 nvqs in horticulture and amenity horticulture sports turf with most of my time spent green keeping and golf course construction. I have done some small projects hard landscaping recently for friends and a couple of community projects. I left the industry in 2008 when the recession hit and I got made redundant. I'm currently working in the energy from waste industry which is great but I'm bored.So the main question is when is the best time to start up and what should I aim to do? Obviously it's June now so should I just go for it, go get a petrol mower and strummed and start from there? Got alot of the necessary hard landscape equipment already.Sorry for the elongated post.

I would hang off for a full launch next year maybe when things pick up in February

You can start up any time. But dont give up your day job yet. It takes a few years to get a decent regular loyal customer base. Plus winter is coming, so a bit less work potentially.

yes now is the time to start..with all this rain the whole of britain is going to need cutting back over the next few weeks, billions of tonnes of unwanted over grown vegetation lol
