Techo-Bloc iPhone/iPad App

A very interesting App available in the US for Techo-Bloc products.

Not so much interested in the 'hardscape' products, but what this App can do using the inbuilt capabiliities in the iPhone4.

See timeline 1m10s onwards in video - namely being able to walk around your site, and auto plot sizes, calculate areas  which tranlate into a take-off lists of products needed.

Just wondering if one could just use the auto plot capability standalone to size up prospective landscape sites ?

Could also be useful for turfing/lawn care applications ? I wonder how well it would work ?

    If you watch the video, auto plot is explained..

    Put in my simple words - it the ability to walk around a site/plot with an iPhone 4 and have it 'size' the area with the help of pressing a few iPhone keys ( using iphones inbuilt technology ) You are then given the area of the site/plot.

    Could be neat, but only have an iPhone 3s......

    John, as an aside you can now get an iphone on £20 pm contract and getting cheaper..

    looks good, i will give it a try, i only normaly do turfing, and rely on the old steps to measure the area, normally works for me but i will give this a tray and see how it compairs

     ** I cant find it in the app store!!
