Stihl parts list

Can anyone point me in the right direction to get a PDF illustrated parts list for my SH86 blower? There seems to be a spring broken on the carb that holds the trigger in the tickover position. It defaults to full speed and you have to try and pull the trigger out to slow it down. Combined with the common fault of broken wire on the off switch, makes for a lot of wind at the wrong time :-)I'd love to be able to order the part online tonight. But this seems such a hard thing to be able to do. It is 2013 for goodness sake.Darren

  • Hi Darren

Have just sent you and email.

Also I order my stihl parts from http://www.lsengineers.co.uk. Parts usually arrive in a couple of days and in some case including postage are cheaper then my nearest dealer. It's also handy for them to be waiting on the doorstep when you get home.

    Thanks Ian.

Yes I use LS too, they're pretty good but I couldn't find the part on their website. Mister solutions on eBay are also a favourite. But it helps if you can identify how Stihl name the part or have the part number.

I've just looked at the diagram you sent and it is not listed as a separate part, so must be part of the carb itself. Boo!

Most stihl part numbers are stamped on each part....

This is a tiny wrap around spring under a lever on the carb body. No room for a part number. Although it appears not to function, I'm not convinced that this tiny spring would be strong enough to control the trigger position. I'll have to take it apart again tonight.
