On my km100 and km130 to get access to the fuel filter you need to first take off the air filter and then take off the carburettor whilst disconnecting all the fuel and air intake pipes and then you'll have access to the fuel tank. Where the pipes go into the fuel tank you should have a little housing with a tab on it. You will have to remove this grommet which in turn will pull out the fuel filter. Just be very gentle with the tab though I've broken two and then just had to pull the grommet out and then needs replacing as well. If you send me a message with your email address have got a service PDF for the Komi engines goes through everything.
Brilliant, thanks for that Ian,

Thanks Ian,
Got them, great help. Where did you get them from if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks Paul,
Can't see the central screw at the mo. Maybe different on the other engines but on the KM56 once the rear plate with the starter section on it has been removed there is the nylon rotor which has a small orange disc in the centre. I'm guessing this hides the screw. There is a what appear to be a clip around this but haven't been able to remove this. Will keep trying anyway.
Thanks again for the info.
