Stihl HL75 help!

evening all, I have a set of HL75 long hedge trimmer, the blades started oscillating on idle, so took apart and found the spring had snapped on clutch so have replaced the springs and put back together

anyhow.... started it back up and when idling (No choke) all is fine, soon as slightly open choke it revs it’s balls off like I’m fully opening throttle.... any help appreciated

You need to look at position of throttle cable. My guess would be that it is holding the throttle open on carb side from when you spilt the two to do clutch

    • I’ll take another look at it cheers for reply
