Thanks, Tony. I am thinking of buying one tomorrow ready for next week. Your view is along the lines of what I think.
I don't own a combi system but all my gear is Stihl I mostly have professional but some homeowner grade stuff which I bought before I set up on my own I have always found that Stihl don't make rubbish gear (IMO). Therefore if you think it would work for you then it may be worth a try. I see the list price is £205 Inc VAT you would of course pay less than that. I suspect it may be aimed at the domestic market but if its only you using it then you will take better care of it.
I totally agree with your comments, Ben. I have not had any issues wih either Stihl or Viking - all good gear,
Love ours and to be quite honest I use it on lawns to pull out thatch prior to,overseeding more than on borders, speeds everything up loads.
